What is a dandruff condition?
Dandruff may be dry or oily and is often accompanied by irritation. The health of the hair and scalp is always affected by dandruff that can smother the roots and cause hair loss. This is why dandruff must be treated with effective products as soon as it appears. First, to achieve the best results, the kind of dandruff (dry or oily) and the cause must be identified. The formation of dandruff is frequently related to an unbalanced scalp condition (dry or oily). Treatment includes: Cleanse and purify the scalp Treat the problem which caused the condition (seborrhea, external aggression or internal problems, such as stress). The anti dandruff treatment includes a dandruff shampoo, treatment cream, ampoule or mask to provide optimum action.
Henna Treatment

Indian Head Massage

Hair Removal
What is threading?
THREADING has been used to remove unwanted facial hair since ancient times. It is a common method used in India , Pakistan and the Middle East.It can be used to shape the eyebrows with a clean defining edge and remove hair from the upper and lower lip as well as other areas of the face. The procedure utilizes a length of thread which is twisted back and forth along the hairs which are to be removed. The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. With this unique method, hair is removed by the roots, in manner similar to waxing. In distinction to waxing, the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized in the process. The result ...a safe, simple, rapid, and highly effective method of hair removal. Because there is minimal chance of irritation, it is very well suited for the sensitive face and upper lip. Threading is an excellent option for those guests who cannot wax - such as those who are using Retin-A, Accutane, Renova, etc.
Waxing
While threading has its advantages, however its not feasible to use on larger parts of the body. Hence waxing!
At Spa Alangkaara, we use our own custom made wax, which is 100% natural & environment friendly, i.e. No chemicals are used at all. It is practically "no mess" at all to cleanup, because its completely water soluble.
Family Recipe – The unique wax is completely homemade, consisting of only sugar and lemon juice and other natural ingredients and looks like honey. (Natural ingredients mean natural reactions, which for most is no reaction at all!)
